On January 28, 2007, JANITA H. CARLSON, of natural causes, at the age of 90. Born July 29, 1916 in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada, she lived in Garland Park for over 60 years before moving to Severna Park, MD four years ago. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Linthicum for mare than 68 years and was active in many church and community organizations. She enjoyed traveling, music and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Carlson. She is survived by four children, Connie Lee of Catonsville, Martin Carlson of St. Thomas, USVI, Newton Carlson of Severna Park and Ann Cramer of Pasadena. Also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 2, at 2 P.M. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Linthicum. In lieu of flowers contributions in Jan's memory may be made to Stephen Ministry at St. John's Lutheran Church, 300 Maple Road, Linthicum, MD 21090-2434 or Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
