KITCHEN TIP

To rehydrate sun-dried tomatoes that are not packed in oil, place in a small bowl and add 1/3 cup of hot water. Let the tomatoes soak until softened, at least 5 minutes. Add the flavorful soaking liquid to the dish with the tomatoes when you can.
