The off-leash area at Howard County's Worthington Park allows dogs to roam in a spacious fenced space. Only dogs with proof of current vaccinations, including rabies, are allowed. The park, located near Ellicott City, also has an area for small dogs.

The Paws Patrol, a group of trained volunteers, monitors goings-on at the park, according to the park's Web site.
