`Cell Phone'

More than 30 artists from around the world will contribute to the Contemporary Museum's new exhibit Cell Phone: Art and the Mobile Phone. The artworks on display are created with or for a cell phone or other mobile device.

Some of the pieces are made to interact with your cell phone through text messaging and downloading content. It's one of the rare times when you're actually encouraged to use your cell phone in a museum.

Cell Phone: Art and the Mobile Phone opens Sunday and runs through April 22 at the Contemporary Museum, 100 W. Centre St. There is a reception 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Hours are noon-5 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays and noon-7 p.m. Thursdays. Call 410-783-5720 or go to www.contemporary.org.
