Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northwestern

Assault -- A 21-year-old woman was seated in a car at Liberty Heights and Gwynn Oak avenues about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when someone fired at least one shot that shattered the rear window. The woman was uninjured and police were attempting to learn if she was the intended target.

Central

Robbery -- A man in his 30s was walking in the 800 block of N. Eutaw St. about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, carrying a bag of groceries, when he observed a gunman approaching him. Police said the man dropped the bag and fled. The gunman picked up the groceries and did likewise.

Theft -- A debit card was stolen Tuesday from a 2004 Toyota parked in the first block of President St.

Southwestern

Robbery -- A man robbed Popeye's at Edmondson Village Shopping Center of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn

Robbery -- Two 14-year-old boys were walking near Johnnycake Elementary School in the 5900 block of Craigmont Road about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday when they were assaulted by several other youths who robbed one boy of $35 and his trumpet and the other of his cell phone and $20.

Essex

Burglary -- A triple-axle 1998 First Coast boat trailer valued at $5,000 was stolen from a marine storage yard in the 800 block of Back River Neck Road between Dec. 18 and Jan. 1. The theft was reported Tuesday.
