'100 TEAPOTS'

The functional and decorative teapots in the new 100 Teapots III exhibit at Baltimore Clayworks are an unusual mix. The exhibit, running Saturday through Feb. 25, was juried by potter Julia Galloway and features 100 teapots by 69 artists from around the country. An opening reception is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

HERE COME THE BRIDES

If you've got a wedding on the horizon, you may want to stop by the second annual Bridal Show at the Baltimore Museum of Industry Tuesday. Shop for your wedding gown, sample foods, watch a bridal fashion show and browse the numerous vendor stands offering wedding products and services. There will also be door prizes and live music. The show is sponsored by the Perfect Wedding Guide and Party Perfect.

WHERE THE BUGS GO

What becomes of insects in wintertime? Attend the "Snug as a Bug in a ????" program at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center Saturday and find out. Visitors ages 5 through adult will search Leight Park for signs of insects.

FLUTE RECITAL

Like flute music? Catch a recital by the Flute Society of Washington Saturday at An Die Musik. The audience will hear music for solo flute and for flute and piano. Performers will include flutist Alicia Kosack, who will play Karg-Elert's Sonata Appassionata for solo flute. There will be a post-concert reception.

WHY / / Because while it may seem like a strange pairing, the two men share an interest in promoting stress-reducing meditation for at-risk youth. Lynch (pictured) will discuss his new book, Catching the Big Fish, and his new film, Inland Empire, and he'll answer questions. Donovan will perform a greatest-hits concert, sure to feature "Mellow Yellow," "Sunshine Superman" and "Hurdy Gurdy Man."
