Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Assault/arrest -- Two women were arguing in a public park in the 400 block of Presstman St. about 3:30 p.m. Thursday when one kicked and struck the other in the head, causing minor injuries. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Terjiane Martin, 35, of the 3700 block of Columbus Drive.

Theft -- Someone entered an office at Mercy Medical Center in the 300 block of St. Paul St. Thursday and stole an employee's purse containing cash and property -- all valued at $20.

Theft -- A wallet owned by a trainer at Merritt Athletic Club in the 200 block of E. Centre St. was stolen Thursday from his office.

Burglary -- A 32-inch TV, a DVD player and a waterfall statue -- all valued at nearly $1,200 -- were stolen Thursday from an apartment in the 700 block of Park Ave.

Theft -- Someone broke into a 2000 Ford Explorer parked in the first block of E. Preston St. Thursday and stole a briefcase, laptop computer, iPod and radar detector -- all valued at nearly $2,900.

Burglary -- An air compressor, two electric saws, an electric drill and its charger -- all worth nearly $1,400 -- were stolen from a house under renovation in the 2000 block of Division St. between Tuesday and Thursday.

Southern

Burglary -- Several pieces of jewelry valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2500 block of Brohawn Ave. by someone who entered through a basement window.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of S. Paca St. through a living-room window Wednesday and stole a DVD player and several pieces of jewelry.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- A laptop computer valued at nearly $800 and $10 in coins were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 6800 block of Golden Ring Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Robbery try -- Police were seeking a man who entered Taco Bell in the 8400 block of Cordon Way about 8 p.m. Thursday and ordered an employee to give him money while displaying a small-caliber handgun. Before the employee could comply, the gunman turned and fled for no apparent reason.

North Point

Burglary -- Someone entered the bedroom of a resident at Center Place Apartments in the 100 block of Center Place Wednesday and stole $487 and medication valued at $150.

Pikesville

Burglary -- Between Dec. 29 and Tuesday, someone entered a construction site in the 2900 block of Stone Cliff Drive and removed tools of unknown value from a storage trailer.

Burglary -- Cash and jewelry were stolen Wednesday from the bedroom of a house in the 100 block of Old Crossing Drive.

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of Judy Lane through a side door Wednesday and stole several pieces of jewelry of unknown value.
