Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Homicide victim named -- A man who was shot April 26 in the 3900 block of W. Forest Park Ave. and was hospitalized for several months before dying in November has been identified as Larry Parks, 37, of the 3900 block of Bonner Road. Police said the delay in releasing the man's name was because of difficulty in notifying his family.


Homicide victim identified -- Police identified yesterday Eddie Golf, 26, of the 2800 block of W. Garrison Ave., as the man found fatally shot Tuesday in a wooded area behind an apartment complex in the 4900 block of Challedon Road.


Arrest -- A woman was arrested about 8 p.m. yesterday after leading police on a brief pursuit through Highlandtown in a 1995 Jeep that had been reported stolen. After abandoning the vehicle at Gough and Haven streets, the woman ran into a fenced-in lot and was found hiding under a truck.

Carjacking -- A pizza delivery man was seated in his 1995 Chevrolet Lumina in the 6200 block of Boston St. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a knife forced him from the vehicle and drove off. The car had tags 1BZ V88.

Robbery -- Two teenagers were walking in the 700 block of S. Port St. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed one young man of $7 and the other of $5 and an iPod valued at $29.

Robbery -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a woman of her purse containing a cell phone as she and her male companion walked in the 800 block of S. Ann St. about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday.


Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 3800 block of Overlea Ave. on Wednesday afternoon after breaking a window with a chunk of cinder block. Several digital video discs and meat products were stolen.

Baltimore County

North Point

Drug arrest -- Police reported seizing 14 gelatin capsules of heroin from a 16-year-old and $260 and 22 small plastic bags with cocaine from his pockets after stopping him about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of McShane Way. He was charged as a juvenile with possession with intent to distribute the drugs and released to his parents.

Arrest -- After viewing a videotape of a woman stealing tools Dec. 10 from a vendor at Plaza Flea Market in the 2400 block of North Point Blvd., police arrested a suspect Wednesday. Charged with felony theft of the tools valued at $502 was Ashley Clark, 20, of the 1900 block of Frames Road.

White Marsh

Burglary -- About $240 in computer equipment and cash were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 6800 block of Golden Ring Road.


Burglary -- A power saw was stolen from a storage trailer at the State Highway Administration complex in the 10000 block of Falls Road between Dec. 29 and Tuesday.


Burglary -- A laptop computer was stolen from an apartment in the first block of Brookebury Drive between Dec. 25 and Monday. Entry was through a sliding glass door.
