Baltimore

Southeastern

Shooting -- A 16-year-old boy from the 1700 block of E. Lanvale St. was in critical condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital after he was shot at least once in the head about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday while standing in an alley behind the 100 block of N. Belnord Ave. Police found the wounded youth while responding to a 911 call of a shooting. Anyone with information about the attack is urged to call the district at 410-396-2422.

Southern

Arrest -- Rinaldo James, 36, of the first block of Glenridge Road in Glen Burnie was arrested yesterday afternoon in the 2400 block of Hammonds Ferry Road on a warrant charging him in the attempted murder of a man in the 2800 block of Annapolis Road on Dec. 26.

Southwestern

Suspect sought -- Police continue to seek 16-year-old Antoine Martin of the 800 block of Lyndhurst Ave., who is charged in a warrant as an adult with attempted murder, assault and possession of a deadly weapon in the stabbing of Paul Jones, 20, a fellow student at Southwestern High School during a confrontation outside the building Nov. 28. Jones was released after being treated for a chest wound. Police said the stabbing resulted from a disagreement during a lunch-period dice game a day earlier. Arrested shortly after the attack and charged with aggravated assault were three other male Southwestern High students. Anyone knowing Martin's whereabouts is urged to call the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force at 410-637-8970.

Central

Burglary -- Someone broke into a garage in the 1400 block of Madison Ave. on Tuesday and removed a mirror, pictures, silverware and furniture.

Western

Arrest -- William A. Barson, 36, of the 600 block of N. Payson St. was arrested Dec. 26 in the 500 block of N. Fulton Ave. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with robbery. Barson is accused of robbing a man in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. on Dec. 2.

Baltimore County

Parkville

Attempted robbery -- Police were seeking two men armed with what appeared to be rifles or shotguns who attempted to force their way into the cashier's booth at a Texaco station in the 9600 block of Belair Road about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. The pair fled when the female attendant turned off the lights and lay down on the floor before calling police.

Franklin

Burglary -- A dishwasher, range and microwave oven - all valued at nearly $1,000 - were stolen between Dec. 31 and Tuesday from a house under construction in the 4500 block of Hidden Stream Court.

Pikesville

Burglary -- Someone entered an apartment in the 7200 block of Deerfield Road on Tuesday through the front door and removed $80, a DVD player, jewelry and watches.

Wilkens

Burglary -- A 52-inch flat-screen TV and a laptop computer - all valued at $1,800 - were stolen from All My Sons Moving & Storage in the 200 block of Azar Court between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Essex

Robbery -- A 29-year-old man was walking along Route 702 near Hyde Park Road about 6 p.m. Tuesday when he was accosted by two men who robbed him of 60 cents. After the incident, the pair went to a nearby pay telephone, where one of them made a call. Moments later, a Dodge Caravan arrived, driven by a man and bearing New York tags, and picked up the robbers.
