Makin' Out at Sonar

The lowdown -- When Sonar started hosting live bands in its current location, much of its attention to club and lounge music fell by the wayside. Now, owner Lonnie Fisher is beginning to revive the venue's club and lounge scene. DJ Feelgood recently moved back into the city and started a Thursday night residency called Makin' Out a couple of weeks ago. The next one is tonight.

If you go -- Doors open at 9 p.m. It's 18 and older. Tickets are $5 before 11 p.m. and $7 afterward. The club is at 407 E. Saratoga St. For more information, call 410-327-8333 or go to sonarbaltimore.com.A funk farewell

Mai tais made from the recipe at Alexandria's now-closed Honolulu Restaurant will be the drink of the evening.
