Anthony L. Pagnotti of Dunmore died Monday, January 1, 2007, at the Gina J. Merli Veteran's Center. He was a former resident of Manor Care Nursing Center, Ruxton. His wife the former Ann Maglio died in 1991. Born in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Carmen and Angela Gatto Pagnotti and was a graduate of Old Forge High School. He was a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner of Pagnotti's Pharmacy of Dunmore for thirty years. He was a member of Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the Lackawanna County Pharmacist Association and its' bowling league. Surviving are a son, Anthony C. and wife Sandra Pagnotti, of Reisterstown, MD and a daughter Ann Marie and husband Dain Davis, of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Patrick Pagnotti, of Moosic; two sisters, Santa Pagnotti, of Old Forge, and Ann Centrella, of Old Forge; three grandchildren, Alesandra and Annie Pagnotti, and Erik Davis and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vito and John Pagnotti and a sister, Philamena Pagnotti. The funeral will be Thursday, from the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge Street, Dunmore, with mass at 9:30 A.M. at Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Interment Dunmore Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gino J. Merli Center, 401 Penn Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503.
