Stover puts Ravens on board

The Ravens capitalized on their opening possession with a 13-play, 55-yard march that ended with a 26-yard field goal by Matt Stover. The defense sandwiched two three-and-outs around an interception by Bills linebacker London Fletcher-Baker at the Ravens' 39-yard line. Buffalo did not gain a first down in the quarter.

Offenses continue to sputter

The Ravens took two of their three series into Buffalo territory, but came away with just three points courtesy of Stover's 37-yard field goal with 1:32 left in the quarter. The Bills drove into Ravens territory on their two possessions, but were forced to punt both times.

3 -- RAVENS 16, BILLS 7

McAlister brings one back

The Ravens took advantage of Willis McGahee's fumble and produced a 39-yard field goal by Stover. The Bills responded with a touchdown as J.P. Losman connected on a 44-yard strike to Lee Evans. But Losman's first error of the game was costly as he was intercepted by Chris McAlister, who returned it 31 yards for the Ravens' only touchdown.

Ravens: McAlister 31 interception return (Stover kick), 3:46.

Rolle's interception ends it

Stover kicked a 29-yard field goal - his fourth of the day. The defense held Buffalo to just one score when cornerback Samari Rolle, who was beaten on Evans' touchdown, stepped in front of Losman's pass to Evans in the end zone and intercepted it with 2:15 left in the game.
