HOLIDAY EXHIBIT

Visit the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory, 100 Maryland Ave. S.W., Washington, through Jan. 7 and browse the exhibit Savor the Season. The Garden Court is transformed into a replica of the National Mall with Washington landmarks, all created from plant materials. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Free. 202-225-8333.

HOLIDAY DISPLAY

Longwood Gardens features a huge display of decorated trees, grand wreaths and thousands of poinsettias inside the conservatory, and more than 420,000 holiday lights jazzing up the elaborate outdoor garden, through Jan. 7 at 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, Pa. LANDSCAPE-DESIGN WORKSHOP
