Unity by the Bay to hold workshop

Unity by the Bay Church will hold a motivational and spiritual workshop from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays in January at 836 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.

Pat Clarke will lead "Living with Intention" based on the book, The Power of Intention, by Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Registration is required.

Continuing events include silent unity prayer time at noon, Monday through Thursday; meditation from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays; and "A Course in Miracles" from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.

Meeting focuses on health, healing

The Christian Science Society will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday services at 5 p.m. at 101 First Ave., SE, Glen Burnie.

The focus all month will be a spiritual approach to health and healing.

Pasadena United to hold blood drive

A blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at Pasadena United Methodist Church, 61 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena.

The community is encouraged to participate.

Basket bingo set for Jan. 27

Community of Christian Women, Inc. will sponsor basket bingo at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 410 E. Jeffrey St., Brooklyn.

This event will have more than 20 games and three raffles.

Food will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will benefit the CCW's Women's Faith Retreat in March.

The cost is $18, and doors will open at 1 p.m. Advance ticket purchases will be discounted.
