The buzz -- Since these old NFC East rivals last played, Tony Romo has taken over as the Cowboys' quar terback and turned Dallas' season around. Eagles QB Jeff Garcia is doing the same in place of the in jured Donovan McNabb, but his roll should end today.

JETS (8-6) @ DOLPHINS (6-8)

Time, TV -- 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Line -- Dolphins by 2 1/2 .

Key stat -- The Jets have won four of the past five meetings in the long time AFC East rivalry.

The buzz -- The Jets still have a shot at the playoffs, and that motiva tion is an advantage this time of year. QB Chad Pennington could have an other big day, but Miami's defense is tough, led by DE Jason Taylor.
