Malcolm Delaney scored 26 points and went 6-for-7 from three-point range to lead No. 2 Towson Catholic to a 76-53 victory over visiting St. Maria Goretti yesterday.

Donte' Greene added 15 points for the Owls, who took a 22-9 lead after the first quarter and never trailed.

No. 13 John Carroll 55, Richland, Neb., 44 -- The Patriots (11-2) defeated the Cavaliers to finish in third place at the Chick-fil-A Classic in Columbia, S.C. Isiah Philmore scored 20 and grabbed 10 rebounds for John Carroll.

No. 12 McDonogh 41, No. 9 Cardinal Gibbons 38 -- The host Eagles (9-1) used a late fourth-quarter run to cement a victory against the Crusaders. Brandon Herbert scored 16 points in the victory. Herbert hit back-to-back three-point shots late in the third quarter to put the Eagles within two points.

Girls

No. 15 Glenelg 48, Howard 41 -- Alissa Bourne scored 16 points to power the host Gladiators (5-3) past the Lions.

No. 10 Mount Hebron 54, Centennial 39 -- Jill Rekart scored 17 to lead the host Vikings (6-1).
