Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrest -- Joseph Brinkley, 38, of the 2700 block of Baker St. was arrested Tuesday in the 300 block of E. North Ave. on warrants charging him with two counts of attempted murder and related offenses. He is accused of shooting two men in the 3400 block of Brookfield Ave. on Nov. 12, 2005.

Drug arrest -- Officer Lane Easkins and police trainee David Ciotti were in the 5300 block of Cuthbert Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday when they observed a drug transaction. A 17-year-old male was arrested, and a search turned up 11 small plastic bags of heroin, $110 and a loaded Browning semiautomatic handgun. The youth was charged as a juvenile with drug and weapon offenses.


Shooting -- A 44-year-old man answered a knock at the door of his home in the 800 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 3 p.m. Tuesday and was shot in the left leg during an argument with an unknown male. He was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.


Theft -- A stereo system valued at $80 was stolen Monday from a 1995 Honda parked in the 1400 block of Hull St.

Burglary -- Two cameras, several watches, a gift card, a ring and computer equipment were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1700 block of Maple Ave.


Burglary -- Someone entered an apartment in the 10300 block of Sunnylake Place on Tuesday after breaking a window with a rock and stole computer equipment and a safe containing two automobile titles.


Robbery try -- A 54-year-old man was attacked by a would-be robber in the 5700 block of Richardson Mews Square about 10:30 p.m. Monday, but the assailant fled after a struggle.
