Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Drug arrest -- A Connecticut man was stopped Monday on northbound Interstate 95 near Eastern Avenue by Maryland Transportation Authority Police for driving a 1994 Dodge van with expired Maryland tags. After he told police he had a marijuana cigarette, a search turned up nearly 20 grams of the drug in a can with a false bottom. Also found were nine switchblade knives. Charged with possession of marijuana and deadly weapons and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Michael Lawhorn, 22, of New Haven.


Carjacking -- After a motorist picked up two men in the 2300 block of Reisterstown Road about 8 p.m. Monday, one of them told him to drive to the 2300 block of N. Pulaski St. Once there, that passenger pulled out a knife, forced the driver and the other rider out of the car, and drove off with the silver 1995 Buick LeSabre with tags 7CF A64.


Arrest -- David Abramson, 20, of no fixed address was arrested Monday in the 4000 block of Oakford Ave. on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting Thursday of a 20-year-old woman in the 3700 block of Woodbine Ave.


Arrest -- Antonio Tubman, 23, was arrested Monday at his lawyer's office in the 200 block of W. Lexington St. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Tubman is accused of shooting a 30-year-old man Nov. 19 in the 100 block of Goldsmith Alley.

Arrest -- Dennis Bowers, 22, of the 400 block of Watty Court, who was charged in a warrant with attempted murder, surrendered to police at the district station Monday afternoon. Bowers is accused of shooting a 26-year-old man in the 2200 block of Sidney Ave. on Nov. 27.


Theft -- Someone entered a classroom at City Neighbors Center Charter School in the 4300 block of Raspe Ave. on Monday night and stole $500 in cash and $1,500 in checks.

Robbery -- An apparently unarmed man entered the High's store in the 6600 block of Belair Road about 4:30 p.m. Monday, assaulted a clerk and took $100 from a cash register.

Baltimore County

Robbery -- Police were seeking a gunman who robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 11000 block of Philadelphia Road of about $100 at 6 a.m. Saturday.

Robbery -- An employee of Super Subs was about to deliver food to a house in the 100 block of Bouldercrest Court about 3:30 p.m. Monday when he was assaulted by three men who robbed him of the food and his wallet.
