The Weather Page

Bennett Demsky, 7, of Baltimore reads the Weather Page every day (bless you, child), and asks: "How do you determine the [forecast] high and low for each day?" Thankfully, Bennett, I don't have to. Our forecasts come from Weather Central, a private weather company. They look at temperature extremes in places that get our weather systems before we do. They feed the numbers into big computers that tell them how such conditions usually change before they get here. Their meteorologists make their best guesses.
