We're back today with Debra Thomas, formerly of Philadelphia. She asks: "I'm experiencing my first December in Baltimore, and it has been lovely. Is it ... a fluke year, or are Baltimore's Decembers (and winters) sunnier than Philly's? If so, why? The Chesapeake Bay?" The bay might moderate temperatures a bit. We do get 2 inches less snow in winter than Philly, on average. Otherwise, both cities see pretty nearly the same winter weather. Face it, Baltimore's just a nicer place. Every day seems sunnier here.
