Baltimore homicide detectives were investigating yesterday the killing of a 41-year-old city man who was shot in Northwest Baltimore.
The victim, Joseph C. Simms, 41, of the 4000 block of Bonner Road was shot multiple times in front of a home in the 3900 block of Bonner Road about 2 p.m. Tuesday, said Officer Nicole Monroe, a police spokeswoman. Simms was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m., Monroe said. Police know of no motives and have no suspects.
