Novotny, Irma Mae

On Monday, December 11, 2006, MRS. IRMA MAE NOVOTNY (nee Dvorsak), 85, of Reading, PA, died while in the company of family members at Reading Hospital & Medical Center after a two month illness. She was formerly of Towson, MD. Born in Dayton, OH, on August 26, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Brailey) Dvorsak, she was the widow of George A. Novotny who died in 1992. She and her late husband owned and operated Novotny Antiques at Black Angus in Adamstown, PA, for 40 years, retiring in 2000. Irma was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Reading, and a former member of Grace English Lutheran Church, Lutherville, MD. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara, wife of Carl Waller of Reading and Kathy Sue, wife of Anthony Mantione of Pasadena, MD. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service at the convenience of the family at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Towson, MD. There will be no visitation.
