Clark V. Moiles Jr., a truck driver and musician, died of a heart attack Wednesday at Franklin Square Hospital Center. The Essex resident was 50.

Mr. Moiles was born in Baltimore and raised in White Marsh. He was a 1974 graduate of Perry Hall High School and attended Essex Community College.

Mr. Moiles was a driver for Clark Hauling, a trucking company owned by his father. In the 1980s, he established Blaze Trucking Co. and operated it into the early 1990s.

He enjoyed fishing and attending Ravens games. He also liked playing his guitar and listening to rock music.

"He also worked helping the homeless," said his sister, Kimberly E. Pleasants of Severna Park.

A memorial service was held yesterday.

Also surviving are three sons, Clark V. Moiles III of Martinsburg, W.Va., Adam S. Moiles and Ryan D. Moiles, both of Baltimore; his parents, Clark V. Sr. and Kathleen Moiles of Lewes, Del.; one grandson; and his companion, Patricia Akers. His marriage to the former Shelley Miller ended in divorce.
