Violence prevention starts at home

I read with great interest the responses to the Speakout question from last week about violence involving Annapolis High School students. One person agreed with the stance I would have taken: The problem lies with parents and the children.

The solution is in prevention. It happens in the home, my friends. The parents should be watching, nurturing and most importantly, teaching their child from right and wrong.

As for the teens, what good does the fighting bring? Take a serious look at your life. Do you think what you did is right?

Parents and kids, stand up for what is right.
