Holiday house tours are scheduled today

Several house tours for the holidays are scheduled today:

The Chesapeake Cancer Alliance will hold a Christmas Tour of Homes at six decorated private homes and Christ Episcopal Church in the Bel Air/Forest Hill area from noon to 6 p.m.

Sites are Wickenden home, 1808 Barrington Village Court; Wilson home, 2410 Rocks Road; Niles home, 205 Kings Crossing Court, Building 205/Condo 3A; Schruefer home, 1617 Creston Drive; Arnold home, 105 Glenwood Road; Wagner Home, 1603 Rolling Road; Christ Episcopal Church, 2100 Rock Spring Road.

Tickets for the self-guided tour are available through CCA members, Preston's Stationary, La Chic Salon in Bel Air and Kroh's Nursery in Churchville. Tickets are $20 on tour day. 410-420-8352.

Ladew Topiary Gardens will present "Christmas Through the Ages," its annual Christmas Open House and Greens Sale, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3535 Jarrettsville Pike, Monkton.

Tours of the circa 1747 Manor House, music, Santa Claus, the gift shop and cafe, and garden tours, weather permitting, will be featured.

Admission is free for members; $10 for nonmember adults; $8 for seniors and students; and $2 for children 12 and younger. 410-557-9570.

The Susquehanna Museum will sponsor a Candlelight Tour of Historic Homes of Havre de Grace from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Historic homes, museums, bed-and-breakfasts and a church are included on the tour. Tickets are $15. 410-939-5780.
