Mount prevails in OT

Dita Krumberga scored six of her game-high 20 points in overtime to lead Mount St. Mary's to a 66-58 victory over visiting William and Mary last night.

Krumberga gave the Mount (2-5) the advantage it would not relinquish after hitting four of four at the foul line for a 59-56 advantage. The Tribe (4-4) cut it to a point with 2:28 remaining in the extra period, but Hassanah Oliver and Brianna Gauthier (St. Mary's) sealed the win, hitting five of six at the line.

Gauthier had 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Marist 60, Loyola 50 -- Vanessa Ruffin scored a game-high 16 points in a losing effort for the visiting Greyhounds (3-5, 0-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Rachele Fitz had 12 and Sarah Smrdel had 11 for the Red Foxes (6-2, 1-0).

Salisbury 66, Widener 62 -- Meghan Phillips scored 22 points to power the Sea Gulls (6-1) past the Pioneers (3-5). The win is Salisbury's sixth in a row.
