COLLEGE PARK -- Given their relative places in women's basketball, it seemed inevitable that Maryland, the defending national champion and top-ranked team in the polls, would grab a large lead last night on Siena, picked to finish fourth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

And while the inevitable became fact in the Terps' 93-54 win, what angered the Terps wasn't so much how long it took for them to blow the game open, but rather what happened along the way.
