Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northeastern

Shooting -- Four men, ages 18 to 21, were wounded by gunfire last night as they sat on the front steps of a house in the 3000 block of White Ave., near Harford Road. A gunman approached from behind the house and opened fire. Two of the victims had graze wounds and refused treatment; the others were taken to area hospitals, one with a leg wound and the other shot in the stomach. Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call the district detective unit at 410-396-2444.

Northwestern

Arrest -- Earl Williams, alias Mark Johnson, of the 2600 block of Quantico Ave., was arrested on a first-degree murder charge Tuesday in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. by the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force. Williams, 25, is accused in the shooting death of Antwoine Armstead, 21, in the 3300 block of W. Belvedere Ave. on Jan. 22.

Central

Assault -- A 10-year-old boy was playing near his home in the 1700 block of McCulloh St. on Tuesday afternoon when the driver of a car stopped, shot him in the head with a paintball gun, and drove away. The boy was not injured.

Western

Shooting -- A 26-year-old man was about to enter a house in the 1000 block of W. Lanvale St. about 12:25 a.m. yesterday when one of two men standing several feet away fired two shots, hitting him in the right hand and right thigh. The victim staggered into the street, where police found him. He was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southeastern

Shooting -- A 27-year-old man was walking in an alley in the first block of S. Conkling St. about 1:20 p.m. Wednesday when someone shot him in the lower back and fled. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was expected to survive.

Baltimore County

Essex

Robbery/arrests -- Two men and a woman have been arrested and charged with the armed home-invasion robbery of a 26-year-old man at his apartment in the 800 block of Brunswick Road about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jewelry, a cell phone, tennis shoes and cash, all taken in the robbery, were recovered when suspects were arrested an hour later in a car nearby. Charged were George Johnson, 22, of the 8100 block of Pinecrest Ave.; Michael Bloodsworth, 30, of the 2100 block of Fait Ave., and Rachel Jones, 22, of the 5800 block of Gambrill Road. Jones also was charged with possession of narcotics.

Cockeysville

Robbery -- A 42-year-old woman was about to step from her car in the 10900 block of McCormick Road about 5 a.m. Wednesday when a man with a knife robbed her of an undisclosed sum of money.

Robbery -- A 16-year-old boy told police he was walking Monday along Cromwell Bridge Road near the Beltway about 7 p.m. when three older males, one with a knife and another a handgun, robbed him of $3 and a cell phone.
