County Council -- The Baltimore County Council will meet for a work session at 2 p.m. in the Plum Room on the second floor at the County Court House, 400 Washington Ave., Towson. 410- 887-3196.

Police meeting -- Baltimore County Police Precinct No. 06 (Towson) will hold a Police Community Relations Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Resource Center in Hillendale Shopping Center, 700 E. Plan conference -- The Department of Permits and Development Management will hold a development plan conference on a proposal for 16 single-family dwellings at the end of Ashmere Road, south of Cedarmere Road, at 9 a.m. in Room 123 of the County Office Building, 111 W. Officers hearing -- The Department of Permits and Development Management will hold a hearing officer's hearing at 9 a.m. in Room 106 of the County Office Building, 111 W. Chesapeake Ave., Towson. Land-preservation inspection -- The Baltimore County Agricultural Land Preservation Board will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the park-and-ride lot on Mount Carmel Road at Interstate 83 to inspect properties that will be under consideration for preservation at the 6:30 p.m. board meeting. 410-887-3776.
