Brazilian Girls

Don't let the band's name fool you: The Brazilian Girls are neither from Brazil nor are they, except one, girls. The mysterious band, consisting of Didi Gutman, Jesse Murphy, Aaron Johnston and lone woman Sabina Sciubba (pictured), hails from nearly everywhere but Brazil, and its music reflects it. Combining reggae, electronica, jazz and bossa nova, the group will be joined by up-and-coming DJ Christine Moritz at the 9:30 Club tonight, 815 V St. N.W. in Washington. Doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets are $25 by calling 800-955-5566 or visiting
