Taxidermy Lodge

The lowdown -- On a short hiatus from touring with hip-hop group Spank Rock, producer Armani XXXchange and DJ Mr. Devlin will spin at the Talking Head's Taxidermy Lodge on Monday. If the evening is anything like Baltimore Bass Connection shows, it will bump hard and loud. Cullen Stalin and Simon D. Phoenix will host.

SR-71 at Recher

The lowdown -- Tomorrow night, SR-71 and two of the band's side projects will fill the Recher Theatre with rock 'n' roll. This is one of SR-71's only gigs in the near future and a chance to see the band perform in its hometown. Plunge, bassist Mike Ruocco's pop-rock group, and Forty Acres, drummer John Allen's rock outfit, both open the show.

Brothers Past

The lowdown -- Philadelphia-based electro-rock outfit Brothers Past plays two nights in a row at the 8x10 starting tomorrow. Earthtone, a rock and drum and bass group, opens tomorrow night, and Basshound, a local funk rock group, opens Saturday night.
