COLLEGE PARK -- In addition to the refrigerator in Gloria Friedgen's homey kitchen, there are also two in the adjacent garage.

With more than 20 people expected for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow - including about a dozen hungry Maryland football players - there has to be a little extra storage room at the modest Friedgen home in Silver Spring. The dining room opens into the living room, where there will be enough seating to accommodate 25 to 30 people.
