David Wayne Guynn, a truck driver and collector of antique tractors, died from complications of diabetes Saturday at Carroll Hospital Center. He was 45.

Mr. Guynn was born in Frederick and raised in Woodbine. He was a 1979 graduate of South Carroll High School and of the Diesel Institute of America in Landover.

For more than 25 years, Mr. Guynn was a self-employed dump truck driver who specialized in hauling gravel and stone.

He collected, restored and operated farm tractors, and was a member of the Central Maryland Antique Tractor Club.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W. Liberty Road, Winfield.

Surviving are his parents, Howard and Margaret Tharon Hurst Guynn of Woodbine; two sisters, Margaret Anne Fink of Westminster and Eveline Kay Shipley of Woodbine; and several nieces and nephews.
