BC 38 Maryland 16

As the wins kept mounting for Maryland during the past month, so did the injuries - albeit quietly - but the effects were visible in Saturday's 38-16 loss at Boston College.

At least five players - including four starters - remain questionable heading into the most critical game of the season, against No. 20 Wake Forest on Saturday.

Coach Ralph Friedgen yesterday said he's hoping he'll have offensive linemen Donnie Woods and Jared Gaither, who "have to continue to pass some tests."
