COLLEGE PARK -- Though they claimed the requisite hardware and awards, the top-ranked Maryland women's basketball team didn't win a tournament yesterday because the BTI Classic was a round-robin affair in which the Terps played three teams over the weekend.

Nonetheless, the Terps liked what their 73-48 win over George Washington meant: a hard-fought victory over a quality opponent after playing three games in three days.
