SYMPHONY OF LIGHTS -- Beginning tonight, Howard County General Hospital's drive-through Symphony of Lights will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and holidays through Jan. 7 at 5950 Symphony Woods Road in Columbia. Tickets are $15 for vehicles with up to 11 passengers, $25 for vehicles with 12 to 24 passengers and $100 for buses of 15 or more. www.hcgh.org.

TOMORROW

BALTIMORE COUNTY SCHOOLS -- The Baltimore County school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Education Support Services Building, 6901 Charles St., Towson. 410-887-4126.

WEDNESDAY

ECUMENICAL SERVICE -- The Columbia Cooperative Ministry will sponsor its 29th Thanksgiving Eve Ecumenical Service at 7:30 p.m. at Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia. Sixteen congregations are members of the ministry.

THURSDAY

TURKEY TROT -- The YMCA of Central Maryland, Harford County Family Branch, will hold its 11th annual Turkey Trot at the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. The 5-kilometer run/walk race will start at 8:30 a.m. at Williams and Broadway in downtown Bel Air. Entry fee is $20 for runners and $10 for walkers. 410-679-9622.

FRIDAY

FESTIVAL OF TREES -- The Kennedy Krieger Institute Festival of Trees will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium. Adult admission is $10. www.kennedykrieger.org.

DOG SHOW -- Four Maryland clubs are scheduled to bring more than 1,600 dogs to the Howard County Fairgrounds for the four-day Turkey Cluster All Breed Dog Show. The show runs from 7 a.m. to about 4 p.m. Friday through Monday at 2210 Fairgrounds Road, West Friendship. Admission is free; parking is $3. www.nemkc.org.

SATURDAY

HOLIDAY PARADE -- The Downtown Westminster Main Street Committee will sponsor a holiday parade that begins at 4 p.m. The route goes from Monroe Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue, Main Street and Longwell Avenue and ends at East Middle School. Afterward, there will be a tree lighting. 410-848-9000.

JAZZ OPEN HOUSE -- The Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center will hold an open house from noon to 6 p.m. at 847 N. Howard St. Live musical and dance entertainment will be featured. Admission is free. 410-225-3130.

SUNDAY

COIN SHOW -- The Annapolis Coin and Currency Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2590 Solomon Island Road (Route 2), Edgewater. Admission is free.
