Vocalists sought for Heritage show

The adult choir at Heritage Baptist Church is seeking additional vocalists for its coming production.

The choir, under the direction of the Rev. Ralph Manuel, holds rehearsals from 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays at 1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis.

The Dec. 17 program, called Together for Christmas, features a variety of musical styles.

Thanksgiving service set at Grace

Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach will hold a special Thanksgiving service at 10:30 a.m. and a Salt and Light Presentation award potluck dinner at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena.

There will be a Thanksgiving eve thank-you service at 7 p.m. Wednesday for participants to express gratitude for their blessings.

Christmas bazaar is tomorrow

The Community Church of God's women's group will hold a Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at 306 5th Ave., SE, Glen Burnie.

Handcrafted items, baked goods and desserts will be sold.

Proceeds will benefit the local and abroad missionaries.

Bridal gown exhibit on tap for tomorrow

Jenkins Memorial Church will hold a bridal and an evening gown exhibit from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow at 133 Riviera Drive, Pasadena.

The gowns range in size from 5 to 44 and can be acquired for a donation.

Woods Memorial to hold bazaar

The Presbyterian Women of Woods will hold the 65th Woods Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore and Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

Holiday handcrafted items, a specialty gift table, clothing and accessories, books, plants, food and baked goods, a sweet shop and a silent auction will be featured at the marketplace.

Santa will be available to take photos with children.

Galilee to celebrate Thanksgiving early

Galilee Lutheran Church will hold a Thanksgiving eve service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.

Unity by the Bay to present induction

Unity by the Bay Church will present a new member induction service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 836 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.

There will be a Thanksgiving eve prayer and communion service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with music provided by Kevin Whisman. Pat Clarke will be the speaker for the evening.

Continuing events include silent unity prayer time at noon from Monday through Thursday; meditation from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on each Tuesday except the fourth Tuesday; a healing prayer service from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday and "The Disappearance of the Universe" study group from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.

St. James to hold sing-along Nov. 26

St. James' Episcopal Church will hold its "Messiah sing-along" at 4 p.m. Nov. 26 at 5757 Solomons Island Road, Lothian.

A candlelight reception will follow the program.

A free-will offering will benefit the Salvation Army.
