Mary Griffith-Biggs, 50

Mary E. "Meg" Griffith-Biggs, a procurement specialist and lifelong Aberdeen resident, died of a heart attack Nov. 7 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace. She was 50.

Born Mary Elaine Griffith in Havre de Grace, she was a 1973 graduate of Aberdeen High School.

Since 1973, Mrs. Griffith-Biggs had been a procurement specialist in the Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

She enjoyed riding roller coasters, reading, ceramics and playing cards.

"She liked to rattle the pots and pans in the kitchen and made wonderful pies and cakes. She was always trying out new recipes," said her husband of three years, Jackie P. Biggs, a chain saw operator with a land-clearing company.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carsins Run Baptist Church, 3524 Churchville Road, Aberdeen.

Also surviving are a brother, Charles F. Griffith Jr. of Aberdeen, an uncle and a nephew.
