HOLIDAY EVENT

THANKSGIVING PARADE

Usher in the holidays with the Best Buy Thanksgiving Parade downtown Saturday. This year's 55th annual parade includes marching bands from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Randallstown High School and Dulaney High School, as well as the Baltimore Westsiders, Charm City Challengers and USA Cheerleaders. Other participants include Miss Maryland 2006, Mrs. Maryland International, the Baltimore City Mounted Police and performers from the Night of 100 Elvises. And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel the parade route, as well. Grand marshal this year is the penguin Mumble from the movie Happy Feet. After the parade, Santa will make his way to Santa's Place at the Harborplace amphitheatre, where he'll meet with children, hear holiday wishes and pose for pictures.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pratt and Howard streets. It continues east on Pratt Street then disbands at Market Place. A reviewing stand will be at Pratt and Gay streets. Free. Call 877-BALTIMORE.

WRESTLING

RAUCOUS ACTION

Catch some live wrestling Monday at the 1st Mariner Arena. World Wrestling Entertainment presents Monday Night Raw, a raucous event featuring WWE champion John Cena, Edge, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Candice Michelle, Lita, Torrie Wilson, World Tag Team champions Spirit Squad, Intercontinental champion Johnny Nitro and many others. The main event is set to pit John Cena and D-Generation against Edge, Randy Orton and Umaga. Wrestlers are subject to change.

SAILING

RIDE WITH THE PRIDE

The Pride of Baltimore II is offering day sails from the Inner Harbor.

Tour the Baltimore harbor and the Chesapeake Bay on the Pride of Baltimore II. There is a day sail Saturday from Constellation Pier at the Inner Harbor to the bay and back and Monday to Annapolis. The Annapolis trip includes lunch and is one-way, so participants must arrange a ride back to Baltimore. There are also open houses Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Pride of Baltimore II day-sail dates from Constellation Pier are 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday to the bay and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday to Annapolis. Tickets are $45 Saturday and $55 Monday. The free open house is 3 p.m.-6 p.m. tomorrow, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-noon Sunday.
