Cranberry sauce wrestling

The lowdown -- Watch female wrestlers duke it out in a pool of cranberry sauce tomorrow night at the Ottobar's annual Nightmare Before Thanksgiving Party. The competing teams in this year's tournament include Afro-Sheen, the Junkettes, Mama's Dirty Girls, and the Germinators. Black Sabbath cover band Snowblind, DJ Matt Walter, Joyce DeSalvo and the Telemarketers and Wayne Mutant and Meat Vegan will perform.

FOR THE RECORD - A brief in today's LIVE section implies that local group Two if By Sea will play its last show as a band this Saturday. The concert is actually its last performance at the Talking Head, which is scheduled to close at the end of the year. THE SUN REGRETS THE ERROR.

Big Daddy Kane

The lowdown -- Though hip-hop artist Big Daddy Kane hasn't had an album of his own for years, he recently collaborated with Jurassic 5 and other groups on a few tracks. While he never topped the success of his sophomore album, It's a Big Daddy Thing, Kane is revered by many hip-hop heroes. He plays a free show at Sonar on Saturday.

Lights out for electro-rocker

The lowdown -- Local indie electro-rockers Two if by Sea play their last show Saturday night at the Talking Head. The venue helped the band find its footing when it first started touring a few years ago. Soft, Bullet Parade and Faster Faster Harder Harder will also perform.
