Richard Maurice of Street thinks it would be "very cool" to ask the Hubble Space Telescope to zoom in on the old hardware Apollo astronauts abandoned on the moon. He says "it might furnish proof to the diehards who believe that the whole thing was a hoax." Why would they believe Hubble? Besides, from 239,000 miles away not even Hubble could spot the six 30-foot Apollo landers. But wait. NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is scheduled to image the Apollo relics from just 30 miles up. It launches in 2008.
