College Park -- The first person to call Maryland kicker Dan Ennis on Saturday after he made the game-winning field goal against Clemson as time expired was Nick Novak, a former Terp who is now kicking for the Washington Redskins.

One day later, after Novak kicked his game-winning field goal with no time remaining against the Dallas Cowboys, the two were driving around College Park together talking about it.
