Jenkins Memorial to hold dinner

Jenkins Memorial Church will hold a dinner from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow at 133 Riviera Road, Pasadena. The menu will include sour beef, dumplings and noodles.

A children's menu is available for dine-in only. This event is free, but donations will be accepted.

The church will also hold a fellowship program for children in grades 6 through 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Ice cream will be served.

St. Andrew's offers concert series

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church will present the next installment of its concert series at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater.

A lecture will precede the concert by the chamber music ensemble Washington Musica Viva.

The cost of $15 is tax-deductible.

Band to perform at Our Shepherd

Captive Free, a Christian band, will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road, Severna Park.

Jenkins Memorial events set for Nov. 11

Jenkins Memorial Church will hold its annual vendors' fair, Christmas bazaar and cookie walk from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 11 at 133 Riviera Drive, Pasadena.

There will be vendors, crafters, food and holiday gift shopping available.

Proceeds will fund church-sponsored programs.

Bingo blast set at Good Shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd will hold a bingo blast at 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at 1451 Furnace Ave., Glen Burnie.

A spaghetti dinner, coffee, sodas and cards are included for a donation of $20.

The jackpot is $500. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Unity by the Bay to discuss book

Unity by the Bay Church will start a study group on Gary Renard's book The Disappearance of the Universe on Thursdays starting next week.

The group, which will be led by Pat Stang, will meet from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the sanctuary, 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18 in Severna Park and will run through March 15.

One-man show to hit Woods Memorial

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will present A View from the Underside at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

This program will feature Al Staggs in this one-man production.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 14 to 18.

Child care will be provided.

Women's group to hold holiday fair

The Community of Christian Women, Inc. will have a holiday marketplace at the Ferndale Fire Hall, 4 Broadview Blvd.

There will be vendors, crafters, a raffle and more.

Proceeds will benefit the CCW Faith Retreat in March.
