Wild Buffalo Grill expands Southwestern taste

Not many restaurants in Maryland serve Frito pie, but Wild Buffalo Grill does. Unlike ribs and chili, Frito pie is a Southwestern American treat that never caught on here in the Mid-Atlantic.

It's simple enough to make, and it's served in convenience stores and at football games throughout Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. A bag of corn chips is ripped open, then chili, sour cream and grated cheddar are dumped in. The intoxicating mass of food is handed over, still in the bag, along with a plastic fork.
