Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Victim named -- Police yesterday identified Leonard Brown, 25, of no fixed address, as the man fatally shot in the back of the head about 1 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of N. Milton Ave. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the slaying.


Robbery try/shooting -- The owner of a convenience store in the 1200 block of Druid Hill Ave. was shot about 7:30 p.m. Saturday during an attempted robbery. Police said the owner, believing the gunman's weapon was fake, refused to give up money and was shot in a forearm and the stomach. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center.


Stabbing -- A 27-year-old man was parking his car in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 2:30 a.m. yesterday when his vehicle struck a parked car with several female occupants, prompting an argument. The man was apologizing when one of the women stabbed him, and the group rode away. He was treated at Maryland General Hospital.

Robbery -- A woman employed by a pizza carryout was making a delivery to a house in the first block of Ridge Drive about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by two men and robbed of food valued at $123.
