Philly museum craft show

Fine contemporary crafts will be for sale at the 30th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show from Thursday through Nov. 5 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Looking for clay works, glass objects, wood pieces, metal works or fiber goods? You'll find an array of unique art works, from the functional to the decorative, at the annual juried show. This year, nearly 200 artists, including 26 from Finland, will offer their wares. The artists were chosen from a pool of 1,500 applicants. All proceeds from the sale of works will benefit the museum's collection and projects.

The show runs 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia. Admission is $15; $5 for ages 12 and younger; $20 for a two-day adult pass. Call 215-684-7930 or go to
