Hereford wins 7th straight, ends Randallstown's streak

Nick Narango rushed for two touchdowns, Colin Gload returned an interception 47 yards for another score, and Lonnie Liggins rushed for a score as No. 13 Hereford won its seventh straight game, 26-6, in the rain last night over visiting Randallstown in Baltimore County 2A-1A league action.

Bryan Botti had a sack and a fumble recovery, Chad Hughes had an interception and Brett Sabol had a sack as the Bulls (7-1, 7-0) avenged last year's 14-6 loss to the Rams (5-3, 5-2).

For Randallstown, the loss ended a five-game winning streak in which the Rams outscored their opponents by a combined 188-15 with two shutouts.

Hereford led 6-0 on Liggins' first-quarter 13-yard run. Randallstown briefly tied the game at 6-6 on Keith Branche's second-quarter 62-yard run.

Narango's 2-yard scoring run, followed by Jason Cimino's first of two extra-point kicks gave the Bulls a 13-6 halftime lead.

Randallstown's 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver-defensive end Darrell Bryant (29 receptions, 612 yards, 10 touchdowns) left the game after suffering a second-quarter concussion.
