WOMEN'S CLUB -- The Women's Club of Linthicum Heights will present "An Evening of International Adventure" at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse, 110 N. Hammonds Ferry Road, Linthicum. The speakers will be Sandra McWhirter and Jean Rock. Free. 410-859-5022.

Haunted hayride -- Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department will hold its Bedlam in the Boro Haunted Hayride and House of Horror on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting from the firehouse at 4224 Main St. Ticket booth hours are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 410-239-4467.


Ghosts at Halloween -- Shop owners and restaurateurs in historic Ellicott City will share firsthand accounts of ghostly activities during Ye Haunted History of Olde Ellicott City Ghost Tours. Tours will be held at 8:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through next month, starting from 8267 Main St. Reservations are required. Zoo celebration -- This is the last weekend for ZooBooo!, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore's annual Halloween celebration featuring live music, a haunted house, face painting and various animals eating pumpkins. Most of the activities are free with admission to the zoo, which is in Baltimore's Druid Hill Park. Admission to the zoo costs is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older, and $10 for children under 12. Admission is free for children under 2. The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.


Shakespeare festival -- Three actors present the bard's entire canon of 37 plays in less than two hours. The final performance of this four-week run is at 5 p.m. at the St. Mary's Outreach Center, 3900 Roland Ave. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $15 for students. 410-366-8594.
