An early-morning brawl yesterday at a bar in Southeastern Baltimore sent six people to the hospital with injuries, a spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department said.

About 1:40 a.m. yesterday at the Malibu Bar in the 1300 block of South Ponca St., Baltimore police were called to break up a large crowd involved in a fight. Agent Donny Moses, a spokesman for the Police Department, said once officers dispersed the crowd, they discovered six people with cuts and bruises.

Moses said the victims were taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. Moses said charges are pending in the incident.
