October 22, 2006|By Tyrone Richardson

Two people were injured by gunshots in two separate incidents Friday evening, a spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department said yesterday.

About 10:20 p.m., a 22-year-old man was approached in the 5200 block of Saybrook Road by an unidentified man wearing a mask. As the victim started to flee, he felt a pain in his leg, said Agent Donny Moses, a police spokesman. The man was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for gunshot wounds to his buttock and right leg and was released.

An 18-year-old man was accosted by two unknown men in the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd. about 10:05 p.m., Moses said. The attackers shot the victim in the upper torso and right arm. He was taken to Shock Trauma. His condition was not known last night. Moses said an investigation was continuing in the two incidents, but there were no known motives or suspects.
